Finn Anderson
An intimate album launch show with Finn Anderson. Moving between the worlds of music and theatre, Finn Anderson is one of Scotland’s most enchanting storytellers. Drawing on folk, jazz, pop and orchestral influences, Finn’s songs move freely from the soft and sensitive to the bold and dramatic, strung together by intricately crafted lyrics that go straight for the heart.
Finn’s upcoming second album ‘Into the Arms of Ghosts’ is an intimate and personal collection of songs exploring longing and belonging, growth and change, love and loss – set against the rivers, coasts and landscapes of his childhood in rural Fife and Perthshire.
This new album follows a string of recent adventures including composing award-winning hit folk musical ‘Islander’, a solo US tour with Sofar Sounds, and performances at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall alongside Rachel Sermanni, C Duncan and Man of the Minch for Celtic Connections festival as part of LGBTQ folk music collective Bogha-Frois.
