Drummer Joshua Blackmore launches his new band & EP ‘SiZE’ at the Servant Jazz Quarters as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival. Performing an energetic set of brand new material promising gnarly bass, crunchy synthesizers, and dizzying beats. Written as a new soundtrack to playing SEGA as a child, this is Synths and Drums chaos. Joshua Blackmore has performed with Troyka, Strobes, Tiny Beast, Squarepusher, Marius Neset and Bill Laurance. Marking the release of his debut solo EP, he brings his brand new band to the EFG London Jazz Festival. Joined by Matt Calvert and Tom Cawley this promises to be a unique and energetic performance. Expect angular riffs, euphoric synth layers, and immersive beats.
