Rivera
Rivera is the moniker of filmmaker and musician Inti Rowland, born in Chile and raised in London. A project that encompasses art, music and film.
The debut single ‘We’re Alive’ was released in October 2017 and premiered on CLASH magazine with the video premiering via Mahogany. Rivera played two sold out shows in Lon- don in support of the release. Followed by a second single ‘Dwell’ in April 2018.
Throughout 2017/18 Inti embarked on his most ambitious project to date – Love From Santiago his debut short film, a story based on his own mothers experience at the hands of his father. Featuring music by the band, a project that brings together for the first time, his work in both the mediums he has dedicated his life to – film and music. Storytelling with a unique approach, working with the emotional language of two incredibly powerful art forms. Love from Santiago will be touring the film festival circuit throughout 2019.
The musical arm of Rivera is, Inti Rowland (vocals & guitar), Grant Mcneill (guitar & bass), Derek Yau (keys & bass), Sam Rowe (drums) & Jackson Dimiglio-Wood (producer). The live band have recently returned from an Italian tour and will be releasing new music in 2019.
