Fiona Bevan + Adam Beattie

Acclaimed Scottish singer-songwriter Adam Beattie ‘Uplifting Reveries Of Love’ (Mojo Magazine) and multi-platinum singer-songwriter Fiona Bevan ‘Startling odysseys’ (The Guardian) embark on a double headline tour of the UK this spring summer! The two artists complement each other beautifully and will also feature some duets and collaborations as part of the live show.

Fiona Bevan is a multi-platinum Canadian-British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Sudbury Suffolk, with a sweet, fiery voice and a soulful, cinematic, indie folk sound, creating ”startling odysseys that suggest Erykah Badu, Joanna Newsom and Kate Bush spine-tinglingly joined” (The Guardian).

Bevan has been teasing out singles from her self-produced eagerly awaited forthcoming EP, Girl WIth Telescope, including her dazzling exploration of post-heartbreak ecstasy ‘Faultlines’, and her acapella clarion call of female freedom and pleasure, ‘Peaches’.

Fiona has toured Canada with Hawksley Workman, Australia with Busby Marou, and in the UK/Europe with Ruston Kelly and The Wandering Hearts after they met onstage playing at The Bluebird in Nashville, plus Ed Sheeran, Nick Mulvey, John Smith, Ingrid Michaelson, and Adam Ant. She has played official showcases at Manchester Folk Festival and Great Escape, plus Isle Of Wight, Victorious, Cheltenham Jazz, Timber, and Smugglers, and has also played Red Rooster and How The Light Gets In.

Bevan is a hit songwriter for Lewis Capaldi, Billie Marten, Aurora, Tom Walker, Kylie Minogue, Ed Sheeran/One Direction (Little Things), and has also recently been writing with Lukas Nelson, and Luke Sital-Singh, and is the face of Credits Due Campaign working with Abba’s Björn Ulvaeus.

Adam Beattie is a Scottish singer-songwriter and guitarist who has just released his fifth solo album to critical acclaim. Beattie is a ‘master of powerful narratives’ (★★★★★ RnR Magazine), writing original contemporary Scottish folk songs while also drawing rich influences from other roots genres. Adam uses beautiful, intricate, finger-picked guitar and a distinctive voice steeped in smoke and honey to create ‘uplifting reveries of love’ (MOJO Magazine).

An early break found him supporting folk guitar legend Bert Jansch at the O2ABC in Glasgow and since then Beattie has toured the UK and Europe including playing Cambridge Folk Festival, Purbeck Valley Folk Festival, Broadstairs Folk Festival, Larmer Tree Festival, and with Band Of Burns he has played The Barrowlands and The Old Fruitmarket for Celtic Connections and the main stage of Shrewsbury Folk Festival.

The press described Beattie’s latest album, Somewhere Round The Bend, as ‘Stirring Folk Balladry’ (Line Of Best Fit) with Loud And Quiet Magazine writing ‘the album is mesmeric”. Adam has been described as ‘incredibly beautiful’ by Mary Anne Hobbs BBC 6 Music, and “fantastic” by Bob Harris, and was also heavily championed by Roddy Hart, who featured the album as his ‘Record Of Note’ on BBC Radio Scotland.

His debut studio album with trad folk 12-piece supergroup Band Of Burns earned top-10 Mojo Folk Album Of The Year and 5 stars from BBC Music Magazine, and his collaboration with alt-folk band PicaPica was signed to iconic Rough Trade Records.

Adam has also collaborated as a multi-instrumentalist with Birdy, Lulu, Michael Chapman, Fiona Bevan, Mikey Kenney, Gabriel Moreno, Leonie Evans and many others.
