Lucy McWilliams is a 22 year-old singer-songwriter from Dublin, based in London.
Her debut single ‘Fair Play’ with spoken word artist Maliki has amassed over 15
million streams and garnered national radio play in Ireland. Hotpress heralded Lucy
as having ‘a voice as rich as velvet and killer musical instincts’ when she was
featured on their Hot For 2021 list. Lucy continued to release a string of singles in
2021 and 2022 working with frequent collaborator, producer: Charlie Hugall. This
demonstrated Lucy’s emotive songwriting and lack of fear to delve into difficult
topics. This landed her features in Clash Magazine, Under the Radar and Hot Press
to name a few.

Lucy has also spent the past year performing for audiences across Europe. Notable
support shows include Arlo Parks, Two Door Cinema Club and Inhaler as well as
Festival performances at Otherside Festival, Neighbourhood Festival and Electric
Picnic. She also played a sold out debut headline show at the Workmans Cellar,
Dublin in March 2023. Lucy has spent the first half of 2023 recording her debut EP in
Los Angeles with producer Zach Dawes (Last Shadow Puppets, Lana Del Ray)
which is set for release in early 2024.

Tommy Khosla & Jawari

Sitar – Tommy Khosla

Percussion – Gregorio Merchán

Saxophone – Billie Sophoclides

Guitar & Oud – Mow Ray

Sitarist and composer Tommy Khosla challenges stereotypes about the musical spaces sitar can be played in. Taking inspiration from spiritual jazz, bossa and electronic music, they are developing a contemporary voice in music whilst continuing their classical training with Anoushka Shankar and Ricky Romain.

The culmination of this most recent musical development can be seen in Jawari, a collective formed in 2022. Members include Latin Grammy awardee Gregorio Merchán on percussion, Billie Sophoclides on saxophone and special guest Mow Ray on guitar and oud. Drawing on the eclectic musical lineages of its members, which include merengue, jazz and Indian Classical Music, to name a few, Jawari’s sound is a unique statement in the current indo-jazz scene.

Following multiple sell-out gigs in London last year, the band is working towards their debut album, supported by Help Musicians, which will be released in 2024.

The British Arts Council supports Tommy Khosla
